Hero Module

What It Does

The Hero is the main opening section for a page. It introduces the topic, sets the tone, and can immediately guide the visitor to the next action.

When To Use It

  • At the top of landing pages and major content pages
  • When you need a strong headline with optional calls to action
  • When the page needs a more visual first impression

Variants

  • default: the standard hero style for general pages
  • contentPagesDefault: a content-oriented version for editorial pages
  • successStory: a version tailored to success story pages

What Editors Usually Configure

  • Headline and supporting copy
  • One or two call-to-action buttons
  • Background image
  • Optional slides when you want a carousel-style hero
  • Category-style label for success story pages

Editor Tips

  • Keep the headline short and clear. This module works best when the main message is easy to scan.
  • Use slides only when each slide adds a meaningful message, not just more decoration.
  • If the page already has a lot happening further down, a simpler hero usually performs better.
