Airtable I/O Module Pages

Airtable is the source of truth for Speedgoat product page data. Editors use it to control the tables, values, and links that appear on product pages.

How The Pieces Fit Together

  • Templates define the reusable table layout for an I/O module family and control which sections appear in Capabilities and Specifications.
  • Template Sections become the blue section headers in the product page tables.
  • Template Rows become the individual label/value rows inside each section.
  • Textual Info stores product-facing copy such as claims, capabilities text, delivery text, and compatible test system text.
  • Ordering Information controls the Ordering Information table shown on I/O module product pages.
  • Placeholder Definitions explain what each {{placeholder-key}} means.
  • Compatible entity tables such as Cable and Terminal Boards provide automatic links.

  7. Finish with Compatible Entities.

What Editors Should Focus On

  • Choose the correct template for the product family.
  • Make sure each section has the right rows.
  • Keep placeholder keys consistent across tables.
  • Fill in page slugs and Common Specs links for compatible entities.
  • Use clear names so the Airtable records are easy to maintain.
